Early Morning Reflections.

A Facebook friend put this verse as her status the other day and ever since it’s been tugging at my heart, repeating over and over in my mind. I find so much hope in these little nuggets from the bible, everything comes into focus and I am once again set on the right path. I find my heart is drawn to passages that speak of hope and of waiting, like I’m a fridge and the words are those little poetry magnets stuck all over me…you can’t shake them off. I can’t even highlight a favorite verse because they all speak volumes to me individually and as a whole. Anyways, I hope that you find something that speaks to you in this passage today.

21 Yet this I call to mind
and therefore I have hope:
22 Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
24 I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.”
25 The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him,
to the one who seeks him;
26 it is good to wait quietly
for the salvation of the LORD.
27 It is good for a man to bear the yoke
while he is young.
Lamentations 3:21-27
